A sad day ...

Hi, everyone.  It's me, Tucker.  And I'm really sad.  Too sad for Mom to even take a picture of how sad I am.

Rest In Peace, Target  .... you will be missed.

Oh, how tragic. I don't understand how any shelter could do that with a newly turned-in dog (or cat). Our hearts go out to that man and his family.

Old Kitty, it is really terrible - a dog that saved soldiers in Afghanistan from a suicide bomber was accidentally euthanized by an Arizona shelter. The dog got out of the yard, a neighbor found her and took her to the humane society, the next day the soldier went to the humane society to retrieve her, and due to a shelter worker not following proper protocol, she was euthanized that morning shortly before he got there. Horrible!

This is so sad. It makes it hard because it should be a place for people to easily find their lost dogs, instead things like this have been happening way too often.
