Working Dog Saturday

So yesterday Mom had to work ... again!  Of course, Phoebe and I went with her in case she needed help.  But it was such a nice day out (cool and breezy with bright blue skies) that when we stepped outside for a potty break, Mom let us run around for awhile and play.    One of the nice things about our office is all the green space surrounding it.  So we got to spend some time running around and chasing each other through the grass.  Which was really fun.  Just like our own mini dog park.  So of course Mom had to ruin it by whipping out that stupid new flashy box.  She's such a buzzkill sometimes.  But she is showing a few small signs of improvement in the picture taking arena.  At least she's no longer cutting off ears, tails, or other crucial parts of our anatomy.  Most of the time anyway.

It's a shame we wasted most of yesterday inside working because today it's been pouring down rain all day and we haven't been able to do anything.  And when Mom gets restless she starts cleaning out the closets and stuff.  And she won't even let me supervise to make sure she doesn't throw out anything of mine.  I've done a quick inventory and most everything seems to be in place, but I can't seem to find my squeaky stuffed squirrel anywhere.  I love Mom and everything, but if she threw my squirrel away I'm gonna have to lay down the law.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Well, we're happy your Mom took your pictures, because you two are so cute! We hope Mr Squirrel turns up...sometimes our toys get sucked up by the vacuum monster, which is pretty traumatic. For us, that is.

Say, how does your Mom do her photo collages? Mommy would love to learn how.

Mom is doing a fantastic job with that new flashy box, she will have to show us what she got. Mom loves your collages too. Awesome pics of you and Phoebe.

Hmmmmm, where could that squirrel have come - hope you find it soon.

@ OP Pack, we got the Canon Rebel. A friend of mine turned me on to the wonderful world of refurbished cameras. I got this one directly from Canon and it came beautifully boxed with everything it would have had had I bought it new, but for half the price. INCLUDING a 90 day warranty! So we are really happy

@ Amber, yep, that is a ledge. It's about a five foot drop on the side I was taking the picture from, but behind the dogs it's only about a two foot hop up there. And for as little as they are, it's plenty wide, and as you can see they are pretty relaxed and comfy up there!
