Best of the Web? Moi?!!!

Hi, everyone, it's me, Tucker!  And I have some exciting news!  Mom was helping me answer my email last week and we got a really good one from a website called Pocket Change, asking if they could feature us in their Best of the Web series.  Naturally, we said ... but of course!  And so they did!  And here we are!  Our blog friends Jon Farleigh and Dewi were also featured!

“I started Tucker Tells All as a way to chronicle the lives of my five wonderful animal companions in words and photos.  I did so never expecting that anyone but my family and close friends would ever read it, but to my immense surprise, I have found a wonderful community of similarly-minded people who have made me feel incredibly welcomed and supported.  I’ve always loved to write, but through the exercise of blogging, I’ve discovered an interest in photography as well, and have just enrolled in a beginning photography class in hopes of bettering my currently very minimal skills in that area. As my first ”blog-a-versary” looms, my most fervent hope is that the title character of the blog will remain healthy and vigorous for many years to come.”

Now, let me ask you ... does anyone ELSE think it's wrong that she is once again trying to take credit for MY idea?  All I can say is, at least MINE was the only picture they ran.  I mean, really.  This IS MY BLOG!

Working Dog Saturday

So yesterday Mom had to work ... again!  Of course, Phoebe and I went with her in case she needed help.  But it was such a nice day out (cool and breezy with bright blue skies) that when we stepped outside for a potty break, Mom let us run around for awhile and play.    One of the nice things about our office is all the green space surrounding it.  So we got to spend some time running around and chasing each other through the grass.  Which was really fun.  Just like our own mini dog park.  So of course Mom had to ruin it by whipping out that stupid new flashy box.  She's such a buzzkill sometimes.  But she is showing a few small signs of improvement in the picture taking arena.  At least she's no longer cutting off ears, tails, or other crucial parts of our anatomy.  Most of the time anyway.

It's a shame we wasted most of yesterday inside working because today it's been pouring down rain all day and we haven't been able to do anything.  And when Mom gets restless she starts cleaning out the closets and stuff.  And she won't even let me supervise to make sure she doesn't throw out anything of mine.  I've done a quick inventory and most everything seems to be in place, but I can't seem to find my squeaky stuffed squirrel anywhere.  I love Mom and everything, but if she threw my squirrel away I'm gonna have to lay down the law.

... is on the cover of a 2012 calendar featuring rescue dogs?!!!!!!!!!!!

No, it's not me or Phoebe ... unfortunately ...

But really, it's almost as good!  Because one of our "in the fur" friends, Brody, who belongs to Mom's friend Aunt D., is now a cover dog for the 2012 For the Love of Pit Bulls calendar
